Healthcare Pharmacists Network(HPN) is a professional association dedicated to advancing pharmacy practice and supporting its members. This redesign aims to enhance user experience and accessibility through a modern, intuitive, and engaging website. By incorporating user-centered design principles and the latest web technologies, the new site will streamline access to resources and improve overall interaction, better meeting the needs of pharmacists, students, and industry professionals.This will not only streamline access to essential resources but also strengthen HPN’s ability to serve its community effectively and efficiently.

Backstory

HPN has been a trusted resource for pharmacists and students for over a century, but its website had become outdated and hard to use. Members struggled with navigation, event registration, and managing memberships, leading to inefficiencies and frustration. As digital services grew, it became clear the website no longer met users’ evolving needs.
Recognizing the need for change, HPN embarked on a complete website redesign. The goal was to develop a modern, user-friendly platform that addressed the pain points of its members. We designed a streamlined website that simplifies navigation, membership management, and resource access, with a fresh, professional look.The redesign improved user experience and ensured the platform could support future growth.
In short, the redesign was more than just a facelift—it was about making HPN a better digital space for its community, one that would support its members for many years to come.

Creating a modern, clean look and implemented a new, intuitive navigation structure. Including a mega menu for better content discoverability and a more straightforward site map to help users find resources and information more easily.

Redesigning event registration to be more user-friendly. Introducing a simplified, step-by-step registration system, along with clear instructions and a streamlined checkout process. This helps the users to find, register for, and manage events, easily, reducing confusion and improving participation rates.

Revamping the HPN Experience:
Our Design Journey

We significantly enhanced the user experience for the HPN website by focusing on several key areas. We began with in-depth user research to understand the needs and pain points of HPN’s audience, which guided our design decisions. We revamped the site’s navigation to be more intuitive, simplifying the menu structure and creating a clear site map to help users find information quickly. The visual design was updated with a modern color scheme and typography, making the site both visually appealing and consistent with HPN’s professional image. 
Functionality improvements included a streamlined membership management system and an easier event registration process. We also ensured the site was fully responsive, providing a seamless experience across all devices. Throughout the project, we incorporated user feedback, allowing us to make continuous refinements and ensure the final design met user needs effectively.
